Assessment for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Multidisciplinary assessment that aims to determine if the difficulties presented by the child could be explained by an ASD. The evaluation can also be done in combination with a neuropsychological evaluation in order to examine the possibility that the child presents other related problems.
Preschool Assessment
Neuropsychological evaluation for younger children (2 to 5 years old) makes it possible to identify the possible presence of developmental delays (e.g., language, motor, etc.), behavioral or emotional difficulties to help develop intervention plans specific to their needs.
Evaluation for children 6 years +
Neuropsychological evaluation for people aged 6 years and over makes it possible to assess cognitive, behavioral and affective functioning in order to determine whether there is the presence of a neurodevelopmental disorder, such as ADHD, learning disabilities, giftedness, intellectual disability, language or motor disorders, etc.
School Derogation
A school derogation assessment may be necessary if the child shows great ease in learning or, conversely, if he/she has significant difficulties in progressing in his/her development. While following the standards established by the professional orders, the assessment can determine whether the child has the necessary skills to start school early or if, conversely, it may be necessary to wait.
